Symons transports bulk liquids/fluids including crude oil, condensate and a wide range of waste fluids. Our team have experience transporting bulk liquids/fluids from a number of sites where access is challenging, including Mauku and Puka well sites.
Our insulated tanker technology ensures oil maintains temperature in cartage from the sump to the tank farm. This is a cost saving as insulated transport means less solidification, so less heating is needed prior to transport.
A range of flat deck fleet means we can easily cart casing, drilling equipment and chemicals including lots of long-haul from ports further afield from Taranaki (such as Port of Tauranga). Our drivers are inducted at major ports in NZ and hold Dangerous Goods certification with experience carting Classes 1-9.
We can offer import solutions with devanning packages which include pick up, transport, swinglift and devanning of shipping containers on at our MPI approved transitional facility (ATF) located within Symons Energy yard. For customers requiring prompt delivery of urgent cargo we provide a hotshot service (such as Auckland Airport). We will liaise with the import freight companies on your behalf to ensure the exchange is as smooth as possible.
We can offer large rig moves – with Symons acting as pilot vehicles – as we have drivers with Class 1 & 2 pilot licenses.
