Shed Boss are currently constructing a third Warehouse for Symons Energy Services in Bell Block. The 1200m2 storage space is on schedule to be completed by the end of 2014 and will have the capacity to store large volumes of Dangerous Goods.

Symons Transport have recently purchased ten 2014 Scania R560 trucks to make up the 56 strong fleet. Distinct, Dynamic and sharper than ever, the new Scania R-Series sets a new standard in long-haulage truck design and technology. With higher gear ratios than any other trucks in the Symons fleet, the new units will provide increased fuel efficiency, resulting in fewer emissions.

Symons property developments have recently aquired additional land on Connett Road East. Over the past few months extensive earthworks have taken place on this land to make way for new transport & workshop facilities. Symons Group have been giving away thousands of cubes of topsoil to the public in exchange for a $20 donation. Company Director Graham Symons decided that all money raised would be donated to local schools.
Symons Transport Ltd has again been awarded the ACC Workplace Safety Management Certificate at the highest level (Tertiary) and most recently the ACC Fleet Saver Gold certification.
The ACC partnership programme rewards employers who build safer workplaces for their employees. Symons Transport have demonstrated that their systems and processes are continuously improved to promote injury prevention.
