At Symons Group we recognise that we're all facing some challenging times with the uncertainty surrounding the dairy and energy sectors at present. This can obviously have significant effects within families and in our communities. During such times it is important to pull together, to talk, to share, to laugh and to make sure we support each other.
To help out in this area Symons Group is pleased to bring Mike King to the province on a three day roadshow around the mountain. Mike has for years been known as the Kiwi entertainer but all of that changed approximately 5 years ago. These days Mike is better known for his work as a prominent mental health educator with the work he does under his charity The Key to Life Charitable Trust, which aims to reverse the population trends of depression and suicide by effecting positive social change. Mike takes a completely unorthodox approach and is doing life-changing work in schools and throughout our communities, engaging them so that the conversation will continue and not be swept under the carpet any longer. Come and hear Mike's own story and be entertained and educated about some all too common issues facing society.
